Psychotherapy

Core Process Psychotherapy integrates Buddhist psychology and mindfulness, with western psychotherapeutic theory and practice. Compassion, respect and awareness are key elements brought to the psychotherapy / counselling process.

We all desire a rewarding and meaningful life, where a sense of order prevails. Inevitably we go through troubling periods which can throw us into turmoil and distress. Psychotherapy/counselling offers one way to ‘get on track’ by helping to find a path towards a greater self awareness and a more balanced appreciation of one’s life. This can lead to increased choice, confidence and self determination.

Some reasons why individuals seek psychotherapy are listed below.

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Low self esteem
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Depression
  • Addictions
